I've been taking CT on and off for about a year and half. Only on and off because it is so powerful I don't find the need to take it all the time. I take about 1/4 teaspoon 3 times a week. I'm 52, pretty fit, eat well etc. and I must say that it is a very interesting herb. I love how differently it has effected all of the reviewers. One of the properties it has for me is too tighten and seriously enliven the skin. And I already had great skin. People have a hard time believing I'm not in my early 40's. The herb can be a bit distracting in that i do wake up several times a night with powerful woodies when I am taking it. Also the power felt during love making would make porn kings jealous, seriously- it imparts a natural Tantric empowerment to the delight of both partners, ha ha. Don't take it if you plan on not having a mate! I could go on... One other very very import thing, no side effects!

I have been taking this every morning for the past week or so, together with Elephant Mountain Ginseng Formula and Twelve Rivers MycoRestorative Formula. I definitely feel the difference: more energy, of a calm, balanced kind. I mixed the contents of the three packages and take with warm water and some honey, because the stuff does not taste real good. Based on the website, I have confidence in the purity of the products.

I could notice this building free testosterone right away and after using it for over six months now I'm really starting to see a great reduction in facial wrinkles. I must say that this stuff works extremely better when used along side a good Ginseng product like Elephant Mtn. I wouldn't say that this stuff really helps in the vasodilation area, maybe minor if that, you either got it or you don't. I mix this twice a day, morning and after work, one teaspoon in a shot of Lipton Real Brew iced tea and take it down. For some reason this mix taste good together.

This stuff is awesome. The palate is salty and sweet and the overall flavor is of the well toasted crust of artisan bread. The warming quality begins as the powder hits the tongue and continues down to the belly and then radiates out into a general sense of well being. It's great, really, things stay cool despite the stress of daily life after a week or so of taking cistanche. And then there is the libido enhancing qualities; let's just say vasodilation enhancer is an accurate descriptor of the physiological effects of this wonderful supplement. I cannot wait till my next paycheck to order more and continue to explore the positive benefits of this stuff.

I'm a very Yin guy. Always have been. I'm the lazy dreamer. Pretty quiet and reserved although in my head there is a lot more going on which usually only comes out after I've had some beers or got a great coffee buzz going. After the first time I took Cistanche I immediately felt the yang influence. I even wrote and recorded a song with all instrument parts which I usually find to be a very daunting task.

I have been using Cistanche from RAW Forest Foods since they started offering it. Before that I used the "Salsa" extract from another (big name) company. I have to say, this is by far the best extract, because it seems to be much stronger. Since they've been selling it, it has changed a bit but seems to only be getting better. I'm still using it and it as helped be tremendously. Sex drive is up and my skin looks great (57 y/o male) so what more can I say?! I highly recommend this product, but warn that it has a very salty taste.
